Well she Finally left Me

I am still in a state of shock as I sit here and type this. I mean, she and I had been together for ten years, and though the signs were there (and I saw them), I didn't think she would leave me so soon. She didn't want to. I was her first and she was mine.
Now I carry her around in a small black box, clinging to what we used to have and what we created together. It was Monday January 25 when the end was evident. She tried to hold on but lost the final round on the following Tuesday night.
We met back when I needed a friend to travel with me when I needed to do work from home. Doing much more than was initially intended, she became a constant companion staying up with me many a hour sometimes days straight until I finished a project. She was an extension of me, and now a part of me is gone.
So our current work is put on hold until I can find another to attempt to fill her shoes a few months down the road and this emotional gap begins to heal.
She'll be missed but never forgotten.
My beautiful...black... Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop with maxed out gigs of Ram. May you live on many years as my external hard drive even though your screen tried to call it quits.
Even though I never said it before, I love you and always will.
